I can not believe with all that I am doing and how long it seems since I have been here to post that it is still July. It feels like I have been working my butt off here for months and it has only be a couple of weeks, holy cow. Well here I am trying to play catch up once again. I guess that is my song that never ends (sorry I could not help myself). I guess I have to go back a bit to start with....Annabelle's visit...Annabelle and her mommy did come to visit and the girls had fun in the pool splishing and splashing. We did also make it to the Reunion which was much funny for the little ones. Mikayla got to see Lila, Grace, Annabelle and new friend Katie all in one place. She was content with the adults and the friends she knew that she really did not care to meet anyone else new. Katie and Mikayla hit is off right from the start and Katie became Mikayla's big sis for the day. Katie even wanted to take Mikayla home with her. I enjoyed seeing everyone including Katie and her sister Lauren and their mom and dad who we had not seen in 3 years we used to see them every year and they could not wait for us to go and get Mikayla and when we did we sort of lost touch. We are happy to say we are trying to make some keeping in touch plans now seeing how the girls are growing way to fast. At the after reunion party, that was all sorts of fun for all the kids with swimming and toys coming out of the wood work. Parents had fun too sharing our stories of waiting and traveling and loving our growing children and just really getting to know each other. The next day was Zoo day and we enjoyed the walking, talking and visiting the animals even though it was quite hot. Since then things have slowed a bit but we are still always on the run. Mikayla is growing to like the library cause there are so many good books and she loves looking at them all. I think she would take them all home if I let her. We have our last visit with our SW coming up on the 27th we will really miss Nicole's visits. Then Doctors appointment for us all for yearly visits and then we do have an appointment for Mikayla with Children's coming up with the hopes she comes out with a clean bill of health. You can pray for that one. Then the 30th we are getting together with some dear friends that are still very patiently waiting to go to China.... The ones that just got back were April 2006 the friends coming over are March 2007, needless to say they still have a long wait ahead of them....pray with us that things speed up so they get to go soon. Other than that I think I got you covered for now...We got Florida coming in Sept and Hawaii in late Oct early Nov. Just stay tuned to this blog as you know you never know what we are doing unless you check back often to find out. Love you guys, AJ

I hope everyone is having a safe and happy 4th of July this year. Hey mine was/is safe and yes it was/is happy even though we stayed right here at home. I thought about going to Frontier Park and I am glad I did not as I would have been soaked... oh yeah I was any way as Mikayla and I were swimming and got out of the pool just before it poured down rain. I on the other hand was in the rain putting the cover back on the pool and let me tell you the pool water was like bath water compared to those big old rain drops on my bare back (I still had my swimsuit on). Yesterday was a very busy day for us. It was exciting and fun all rolled into one. We played at home until noon when we raced over to the airport to meet our new US Citizen and Mikayla's newest playmate, Kailyn. New Grandma and Grandpa again waited with New Big Brother for his new baby sister. He was head over heels with her right away and Kailyn took to him just as quickly. Mom and Dad looked very happy and proud but extremely tired. We welcomed them all back home and sent them home to bed. I still had an hour to spend at the airport to pick up a friend at another gate but Mikayla did not mind the wait when for the most part she had her old bud Annabelle to play with right there at the airport. When they were not playing together Annabelle's mom and dad kicked in to entertain. We came home after picking up and dropping off the friend and headed to BRU to see Daddy to waste some time before bedtime. Home bound we were and Mikayla was wiped...a quick kiss and tuck and off to la la land she was. Our next adventure maybe tomorrow depending on weather and Annabelle's mommy and daddy as they planned to be here tomorrow to do some swimming. If they are a no show due to weather or what have you we will find some other fun stuff to do. The only other venture I know that is planned is next weekend or should I say this weekend when we have the Reunion, Party and Zoo. We do hope to one day soon, when Kailyn gets settled in to have a BBQ with Annabelle, Kailyn and Mikayla all together with mom and dad's too, of course. Until the next time....Fire Away Safely!
