I Could Not Wait

Check me out I can sit on the arm of the couch

Look they are signing Cookie how did they know you were eating one

My favorite sign... Cookie

I think my fingers are longer then yours, look!

Out in less then 5 minutes...
(either my singing is that good or that bad... I am not sure which)

I didn't do it!!!

Yeah, I did!!!

Mommy aren't you glad it was her house? I bet you were glad she cleaned me up first. :)

The serious side

She has a bear what a baby... hehehe (good thing she don't know I have a baby doll I can't take a bath without)

Wow! That looks dangerous.
Holy Cow! Did you see that?

Ah! Peace and Quiet at Last!

I know just as much as I could not wait to post again I also know AnnaBelle's mommy is probably hoping I post as soon as possible so she can see the pics. Mikayla and AnnaBelle had their first all day play date while AnnaBelle's mommy and daddy worked. They did great they colored, created and pasted and made a mess having fun every minute. AnnaBelle even took a nap like a trooper although with AnnaBelle visiting Mikayla did not nap at all but that was okay as it made bed time so easy. The boys loved trying to torment a newbie but AnnaBelle was not having it. I must say though by the time she left she had their names down pat and was telling them to get out, stop and of course telling them the famous no. Louie of course knew he better listen but as expected Jake gave her the "whatever" and kept being a pest to us all. With about 8 hours of play and only a half hour nap I think AnnaBelle was ready to go when Daddy arrived. Mikayla did not cry but seemed a bit sad at her departure but I am sure they will get together again soon, maybe not all day but for a time I am sure. The boys are sleeping well tonight too... Thank You, AnnaBelle. Well I will leave you with the pics of the day and get back to my bed that is calling my name. Enjoy!

Christmas Is Here!!!

Louie: Get used to it they make you do this every year. Jake: Great!!!
Louie: You couldn't do the tree first? Jake: Are we done yet?
Learning early what to do when there are too many pics
Love this pose like "hey I am all that!"

The gang without me of course
In amazement of all the gifts that showed up in seconds
Loving the sit and spin
Where are the toys?????
This stuff is as cold as snow!!!
Here's a rare one, don't get many with me :)
Power Nap Time!

Playing Playing Playing

Christmas arrived and so did the snow right on time. Mikayla was playing in her room when the sound was heard, we heard a big HO HO HO and some bells jingling right outside. Lo and behold, when she came running to the living room she found tons of presents under the tree. At first she was not sure if she should ripe the paper or what to do. Then she did not know if she should play or find more. She was so over whelmed and tired but loved every gift. With the the gifts unwrapped but still under the tree she goes there as soon as she wakes and spends time with each and every gift, giving each one there due time. When Aunt Ellen came by we all got out in the snow but Mikayla was not too thrilled to have cold wet feet. I don't blame her as I know she did not like the grass when she came home either. Of course the boys had their gifts too and got decked out as much as they would allow. We all had fun and enjoyed our first Christmas together. In the end we all were tired and some of us took a brief power nap, not Mikayla, she was the Energizer Bunny as she kept going and going and going. She is napping as I type but she will have another big day ahead when Monday rolls around and she has an all day play date with AnnaBelle one of her buds as she visits for the day as her Mommy and Daddy are at work. It will be fun for all then to with sharing and napping for them and no napping for Mommy. When Ms Ellen asked Daddy on Christmas Day what the odds are for #2 and he stated "Very Likely", I figure I better get used to it now and whenever I can. Catch you all in the New Year. Have a safe and happy one as time is too short not to. AJ

Holidays-- Grrrrrr!!

Styling and Profiling getting ready to go shopping with a coat and hat from Baby Gap... Thought I would mention it since I always get asked.

Mikayla's first tree. Our first Live tree.

All set for Santa... just need milk and cookies!

Daddy, you want me to do what???

This is one big DOG!!!!

Us freezing but a good one of Mikayla

This is Anthony our driver, sorry Mo (the horse) I forgot to get a shot of you. Anthony took our pic above and I told him I would put his pic as the crazy driver we had...so here it is :)

Look of amazement at all the lights

No Daddy look HERE!!!!

What are we looking at????

Are you serious??? Crayon on my face????

Crayon wasn't bad enough NOW markers, I can't believe this!

THIS BETTER COME OFF!!!!!

See look, I look silly too and Crayola better not lie

Hey I am not a ba-hum bug but its been crazy. We started out by going to the church Movie night to watch Polar Express and made sure Mikayla had her bell and was able to hear it ring. From there, Mikayla and I did surprise Daddy with our 1st real Christmas tree. It is called the Mikayla tree... just in case you can not see from the pic it does have the famous Mikayla butterflies on it, along with Crayola Crayon Candy Canes and Princess Candy Canes. It is just a small tree which occupies Mikayla's drawing desk. It was cute and perfect for a first tree for Mikayla and a first Live tree for all of us. The pups are doing well with it and don't really care that it exists. Jake occasionally needs reminding he does not have to help Mommy pic up the pine needles but that is the only notice of it from the boys. Mikayla loves looking at it and pointing things out when it is lit up other wise it is another piece of furniture to her too. Just wait until she hears Santa's sleigh bells ringing past her window and finds all the presents we were not going to have for her first Christmas. I guess Santa thought she should have them all. We did not do to much through the week other than shop for the tree and try to say warm. Monday, I did not get here since we were out on the Sleigh in Tillis Park. Mikayla loved it and could not make up her mind where to look at the lights but I think her favorite part was the clip-clup clip-clup of the horses as she now constantly says clip-clup every time you talk about horses. Tonight, we just goofed around seeing what we can do with markers and crayons, washables of course. Got to love the washables.

Ok I Am A Day Late - So Now I'm Really Back On Track :)

Mikayla in Jail??????

This is what is left of the last person that bugged me, BEWARE!
Why do THEY have such cute stuff?????

Why is SHE in there????

HEY!!! That is MY house and MY toys!!!!

Who are this people anyway????

Why do I have to pose and smile all the time??? (this pic shows her wearing her first pair of boots and first pair of heels.. she took a second to figure out how to walk in them and now won't take them off)

Ok this is the attitude we will have to get used to as I am sure we will see it more as she grows and can actually mouth us back.

This has been a pretty uneventful week as far a blogging goes. I have been dealing with all the normal things here at home. Dealing with finding a new Ped, a new Vet and a new Day Care for the boys along with the usual holiday shopping, bill paying, cleaning house, taking care of and training the kids, cooking and the like. I will definitely make sure everyone knows I am not a cruel Mommy but Mikayla does like to play with her brothers and whenever possible play with their toys and things, she really does like playing in Jake's home away from home (that's his home when we are away from home (*smile*). Then of course we have the new grown up Mikayla who I might add is getting way to smart for her own good. She is currently sporting size 18 months and closing in on 24 months. She is getting taller as we speak. She speaks approximately 150 words with verbal and signs combined adding at least one verbal and 2-3 signs daily. She is learning she can hop on either foot and can actually jump making both feet leave the ground at the same time. She loves spinning, getting dizzy and trying to walk. So Aunt Louise bought her a Sit And Spin for Christmas we can not wait for her to open. Grandma J bought her a bunch of creative things to do like foam stuff to glue to make door hangers etc, stickers, colors and a coloring book so she will be having fun. We can't wait to see what Santa brings... Well I got to run nap time is about done.

Thank you everyone for the blessings and prayers. I did forget a few things in the last blog that I will start with here. First I forgot to tell you with all the mess of the past few weeks that while Grandma was visiting Mikayla also got to experience her very first emergency room visit. She was tortured for full head and body x-rays which were a great test of her lungs. Might I add her lungs are beyond well. I bet Grandma who waited at home probably heard her using them. At least mommy was not the bad one who had to hold her down and still for all of them, although she still loved and clung to daddy afterward. I also forgot to tell you even with all that went on Mikayla and Grandma did spend some quality time and really had a good time as you can see. Next, on Nov 22nd, our church held baby dedications and we dedicated to raise Mikayla in a Christian home. Last Saturday and this past Saturday we ventured down to Old St Charles where all the Christmas decorations are up and the horse and carriages are running along Main Street. This is also when all the Santa's from different periods are roaming the streets along with elves, the Sugar Plum Fairy, Jack Frost, the Snow Queen and many more are out there with Carolers and roasted chestnuts making it seem like Christmas. Each of the characters carry cards (like baseball cards) for all the kids and some grown ups too, to collect and try to complete the set. Of course, Mikayla got into the spirit and understood the concept very quickly and was sticking out her hand as soon as she saw the next character. In the two Saturdays we got all but 1 card, we believe it is the Snow Queen we are missing but the festivities are not over so we still have a small chance to complete her set. I did get a picture of her favorite the Sugar Plum Fairy talking to her. Come Saturday evening it was time for Los Posados which we were up close and in good view of Mary on the donkey and following them to the stable. I did try to capture a pic of it which was tricky with the crowd the stroller and Mikayla and all. I tried but either way Mikayla did see it all and was mesmerized. Before the holiday we hope to get at least l Santa visit in and we will be going to Movie night at the church to watch the Polar Express for free if anyone cares to join us this Friday evening the 11th. With my birthday coming soon we will also have our first baby sitting venture to see how that goes. Maybe we will also get on a sleigh ride somewhere and see all the Christmas lights which should be fun for Mikayla also. Well, got to run Dad and Mikayla are getting a bit hungry. Merry Happy Christmas to All.
