August is Here and Ticking Away

I have been thinking of you all wondering where I am. I am here. Mikayla is doing good she actually got a thumbs up from Children's and is doing fine. We are also doing fine. We have not been doing much but trying to stay on top of our normal routines. I have not been here to post as it has been a bit crazy with keeping up and all. I have not even taken any new fun and interesting pics for you which is another reason I have not posted as I did not think you would want to read and not see any pics. We did have friends over and BBQ'd and played games, they got to see how Mikayla is growing. They are waiting their little one from China. We were Mar 2006 and the group that just came back from China was Apr 2006, the friends visiting are Mar of 2007. They need lots of prayer and thoughts of comfort their way as they still have quite a long journey ahead of them at least a year or two maybe more. They do seem to be holding up well and enjoying Mikayla as they wait.

We hopefully will have some pics coming again soon as in 9 days Grandma and the twins will be coming for a week long visit. We hope to do the tourist thing along with just being together as a family. This will be the first time the twins have been here since the 2 sec visit at the house the day before G and I got married 10 years ago. It should be fun and a house full. They have met in Oct last year at their house but it is not the same when the twins did their usually things being at home where now they will be in our home. We are all pretty excited. Other than this visit Mikayla and I have been just hanging around the house playing in and outdoors and doing a bit of swimming in her pool. If not we have been shopping for a new potty seat (the old one was very uncomfortable) and other fun shopping along with visiting the library and reading, reading reading. She is getting so smart and becoming more and more of a silly girl. We are loving every minute of it. There are times she will be in the car in her seat by herself in the back and she will just start laughing up a storm....it just gets us all laughing. Mikayla and I have also joined up with a group here in town that gets together for play dates and moms days out so that should keep us busy and having fun also.
