I got this for my birthday too but I am not sure what it is or what it is for but as of yesterday I found out... when mom and I played out in the rain... it was fun and I stayed dry. She said playing in puddles will be even more fun.

Why you ask is this Pecker not eatting...that would be because I am not stupid this window is closed....these enu's are dangerous. Some feed them but I am not that brave, I like all ten of my fingers.

It seems that I have migrated to up dating the blog every other week without any plan to.... time just has been escaping me and I can only see it going by faster as time goes by. If we are not busy doing something or traveling, I am dealing with the boys or dealing with a migraine which I have been doing the last 3 days. I am over the migraine with just a touch of a headache but dealing with a sick boy that may go back to the Doc on Monday if he does not get better by then. As far as my actual update of news and pics for you that would go as follows... First we had Mikayla's first birthday with us as she turned the big TWO which she had lots to open from Grandma, Aunt Georgette and Cousins Dominique and Sabrina including her new helmet for her tricycle and/or her airplane. It matches the colors of her bike and has her name on the back of it, she thinks it is sooo cool. After her birthday we headed to get Grandma J to take her to Branson with us. The trip was definitely an adventure with a flat tire on the rental car and all. While stopping over night at Aunt Deb and Uncle Steve's we got some gifts there from them and Grandma J for her birthday and headed out for Branson. We detoured through Carthage and visited the Precious Moments Chapel and while there picked up the parts for Mikayla's Birthday Train getting that up to date. From there we were Branson bound where we shopped and played and did some swimming. We cruised the Landing, stopping at a play area for some fun on the slide, ride a horse and drive a train. We watched the water and fire fountain show there at The Landing for two different shows. We visited the fish hatchery and fed some hungry fish, played some putt putt golf, played in our condo, did some swimming and went to see Noah's Ark the Musical with a back stage pass. We also fed lots of different animals at the Wild Animal Safari. Mikayla was not afraid at all to touch and feed them all. I think mom was more worried about Mikayla loosing a finger to some then she was. Today, we partied at a good friends baby shower who is getting ready to head out to China to bring her little baby girl home. It has been really busy and we have been on the go go go. Coming home getting the boys is when my work began again as we are working to put Louie's weight back on (as he loses so much at their hotel and doesn't have much too loose) and Jake came home with a cold (I believe a case of Kennel Cough even after having the shot). I am having to get them both back in shape as we will be off to Tennessee soon and want them to be well by then (although the Vet Tech is going to make it her person job to watch and take care of them as top priority, we will see how that works). Soon after Tennessee, we will be off to Council Bluffs, Iowa to visit Lila and Grace for their big birthday bash, we can't wait to see them again. This is one of The Landing Fountain shows with water and fire.... notice how far from the fountain we are standing yet when they blast out the fire throughout the show you can feel the heat almost burning you, it is that hot... I don't know how people sit so close unless the heat rises over them but I would think they feel some of it...maybe next time I will get that close and find out.

It has been a pretty busy time here. We have had Easter gifts from Grandma to open and play with, the fun Easter Photo shoot and of course Easter and the very first egg hunt with talking eggs. I am attaching a video of part of the hunt but not sure if you will hear the eggs but they said things like, "here I am", "I'm over here", "I'm hiding come find me" and when you find them and open them they laugh and say "Surprise you found me". We also played inside with some of the gifts the Easter Bunny left. In 2 days we will be having PAT visit again and I am sure Mikayla will have fun with that as she did the 1st time. After that, we are getting ready to head out to Branson which so far looks like we will have mostly nice weather. There we hope to do some mini golf, swimming and maybe go see Noah at the Ark and see all his animals. We might even go see the beautiful Precious Moments Fountain. I guess you will all have to wait and see what we do in the next couple of weeks when we return. Catch you all later... HEY D!.. Good Luck! This video is of Mikayla just being silly... I love the way she stopped to help Louie scratch his itch until she realizes Jake is missing and goes to look for him. As you can also see she is not afraid of the slobber muffins as she gets right between them to try to steal the toy they are playing with and just takes the big Louie kisses (I think it was a thank you for the scratching) and goes right on playing. Next is the egg hunt if you listen close you can actually hear the eggs talking. The last video is playing a little bunny toss, notice in the bottom left Louie is there ready to catch the bunny if we miss.
